Warranty Policy

At SUNNIGOO, every electric scooter is covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We stand behind the quality of our products so you can ride with confidence.

What’s Covered

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use.
  • The main frame, motor, controller and battery pack as specified in your product’s warranty terms.

Warranty Period

Warranty coverage begins from the date of delivery. Coverage length varies by component — please refer to your product page or the documentation included with your order for the exact terms.

How to Claim

  1. Contact our support team with your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. Provide photos or a short video showing the defect.
  3. Our team will assess the claim and arrange the appropriate resolution — repair, replacement or parts.

What’s Not Covered

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents or unauthorized modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, grips and other consumable parts).
  • Damage caused by riding beyond the product’s rated conditions.

French Consumers — Your Legal Warranties

Important: the commercial warranty described above is granted in addition to, and never in place of, the legal warranties below, which apply automatically and free of charge to all consumers in France. Your statutory rights are not affected by the commercial warranty.

Legal warranty of conformity (2 years)

Under Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771), the seller is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. You benefit from a period of two (2) years from delivery of the goods to obtain remedies.

  • Your choice: repair or replacement of the goods, except where one of these options would be disproportionately costly compared with the other.
  • If neither repair nor replacement is possible within one month of your request, you are entitled to return the goods and obtain a refund, or to keep them and obtain a partial refund.
  • Presumption: any lack of conformity appearing within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery — you do not have to prove it.

Warranty against hidden defects

Under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, we are liable for hidden defects in the goods sold that render them unfit for their intended use. You may bring this action within two (2) years of discovering the defect, and may choose either to return the goods for a refund or to keep them for a partial refund.

How to exercise your legal warranties

  1. Contact lemon@hzneighbor.com with your order number and a description of the defect.
  2. Provide photos or a short video showing the defect, where relevant.
  3. We will confirm the applicable warranty, then repair, replace or refund at no cost to you. Return shipping for a validated warranty claim is always borne by us.

Dispute resolution

If our handling of a warranty claim does not satisfy you, you may have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator or to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
