The N5 is built for the rider who needs one machine for the daily 6-8 km run: to the station, the office, the shops. It folds at the stem in a single motion, hangs from the front hook or slips into a train luggage rack, and unfolds into a genuinely stable ride thanks to 10″ air-filled tires. It is built as a compact, stable folding scooter for daily short trips.

What German Law Requires Before You Ride
If you ride in Germany, start here. German law requires two things before any e-scooter may be used on public roads: an ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) under the eKFV, and a valid Versicherungskennzeichen. ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) ships in the box — the scooter can be registered and insured in Germany.
- Check the register before you buy. The vehicle's Typenschild carries its ABE number and trade name. Match both against the KBA register of issued ABEs — from any seller, not just us.
- Add an insurance plate. German law requires a Versicherungskennzeichen — a compact annual insurance sticker issued by any German motor insurer, usually within minutes.
- Outside Germany, CE and EN 17128 apply. The N5 carries CE marking and EN 17128 compliance, the European standard for personal light electric vehicles.
Where we stand: the ABE paper — the KBA certificate — ships in the box with every N5. The Typenschild carries the ABE number and trade name, so your insurer can issue the Versicherungskennzeichen from those two details.
Speed limit: under the German eKFV regulation the limit for e-scooters is 20 km/h, which is how the N5 is set. Always follow the figure recorded on the vehicle's Typenschild.
